I must admit, that had I been reading it myself, I would have put it down and strongly debated picking it back up. As Prudence’s story began to unfold, I found that these traits are a result of major insecurities - and that she suffers quietly for it. They're teens and they're living life and that's what summer is all about, when it comes to me reading.
Case in point: his main character is truly intolerable, and the guy she is dating does not seem to like her at all, but who cares? In the end, the universe played a role in turning the sour relationship between Prudence and Quint into something beautiful.The romance itself was actually alright until about 80% in, and I actually like the way it had been developed over the course of the book. If the relationship was not healthy you might exercise your choice to leave; or, you might choose to change your perception of the other party's perceived flaws.
The law of giving and hospitality maintains that selfless acts are the true measure of our intentions. Take a driven, yet sort of self involved heroine, and pair her up as a lab partner with someone who is seemingly lazy and irresponsible. The words in this book are the key to unlocking your truth, to see with no eyes, to hear the truth that lies in silence, and to connect with your inner wisdom.Prudence was a little annoying heroine at the beginning but thankfully the book is long enough for you to get used to her quirkiness! Overall, while this book clearly wasn't for me, I do think that if you enjoy a younger leaning YA story with a sassy/snarky lead, there's a good chance that you will probably still like this and I do recommend checking it out if you're interested!

It really did take a bit for me to get into this, but once Prudence started softening up I enjoyed it much more. Her dreams of karmic justice are fulfilled when, after a night out with her friends, she wakes up with the sudden ability to cast instant karma on those around her.
In fact, getting stressed and wound up is going to have a negative impact on your wellbeing, and you'll still be stuck in traffic! If an action is repeated many times with a strong sense of desire attached to it, it manifests as a habit.
