About this deal

This isn't complex literary fiction, but as a silly but fun poolside read, you could do a lot worse. Before you make an appointment with your GP surgery, think about what other services might be able to help. Giving his younger self advice, then revisiting the past to give his parents a warning, he believes he's changed the hand of fate for the better. Thank you NetGalley, Michael Joseph, Penguin Random House, and Steve Jones for letting me read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

We understand that circumstances and situations can change suddenly, meaning you may not be able to make it in time for your bus. I really loved the concept of this book, there’s more than one moment in my life that if given the chance I’d absolutely go back and change and so it was fun to see this one come to life. I liked the writing style, at first it seemed a bit macho (drinking, drugs, partying etc) but once I got into the story it really started to grip me and kept my interest throughout.

Unfortunately, that good nature comes across in his writing, giving it just enough momentum to keep you interested. We would also just confirm the pickup and drop off locations in case they're different depending on the person travelling. There was only one little bit that seemed like it didn't fit with the way the time change mechanic worked the rest of the way through the book. Use this simple, print-friendly client log template to ensure that your client relationship management runs smoothly.

All in all, a good read, with a plot that's just that little bit different, and it does have a softer side to it too. If you're on the route of a service run, you do not have to book your bus journey as the bus will arrive there at a specific time anyway. When something rather mystical happens, and he is handed a phone that could change the past, he grabs the chance but doesn't consider the butterfly effects of that one change in the past and what happens, because of it, in the future. He subsequently found a mediocre career in modelling which thankfully segued into a fairly successful twenty year (to date) career in TV presenting. No shows are classed as a passenger who have requested, booked a bus journey and failed to be at the booked location at the agreed time. I've seen a couple of people complaining that he's unlikeable but that's the whole point of the book.
