As with the other books, the chapters are short and the text is simple. I liked that the structure follows a similar pattern as the reader peeks in on what each princess is doing when they encounter the stink. But there are also some fun breaks from the repetition. The book sets up a nice pattern and then breaks out of it, which is both humorous and engaging. She was also featured in the first volume of Disney Princess stories, Once Upon a Princess. Esmeralda was removed from the official lineup around 2008. As much as they wanted to add Elena to the official franchise, she doesn't have her own cinematic movie and was created to have her own series and franchise, Elena of Avalor, and the Elena of Avalor franchise is considered one of the largest affiliations on par with the Disney Princess franchise.a b c Bidisha (January 3, 2010).
