The Mitre ball brand has been around since 1817. They were the first ball manufacturers to produce a synthetic match ball used by the football league and subsequently the first choice ball for the FA Cup Final. From the first leather footballs made in their tannery in Huddersfield to today’s high performance footballs Mitre have lead the way in technical innovation and design. The Delta Max also uses the popular hyperseam technology and a pro quality laminated power bladder for best ball shape retention and truer flight profile.

A size 5 football is used for 11-a-side football from the age of under 14s to adults. We have a great range of Mitre and Precision match and training footballs at prices to suit everyone. The Mitre Ultimatch ball uses the best qualities of the Hyperseam technology and is now their base level match ball. The Ultimatch is being rebranded as the Mitre Ultimatch One and we shall be phasing these new balls in as they arrive. The size 5 white model is now the new design in Ultimatch One. The Mitre Delta ball uses the popular Hyperseam technology which ensures the ball stays the same weight as when 1st used, as it has virtually no water intake through seams. The Pro range of balls all use a superb laminated power bladder, which ensures shape retention and flight remain as true as ever. Please note the previous Mitre Ultimatch balls for 2018 are now known as the Mitre Ultimatch Plus and are IMS approved in size 5. The 2019 Mitre Ultimatch IS NOT IMS approved. The Mitre Impel Max is a great quality high level training football which replaced the Mitre Calcio ball. Launched in 2018 this ball is available in 2 colours - white/silver/blue and yellow/silver/blue and 3 sizes - size 3, 4 and 5.

The new V12 Match balls get the balance right with the number of panel used in construction. Too many panels will give the ball a stable shape but this means that the amount of stitching is increased. An increase in the amount of stitching can reduce the speed of the ball. Fewer panels will make the ball more aerodynamic, but this can be at the detriment of losing shape. This ball is Mitre's mid level match ball suitable for clubs and schools. The Ultimatch Plus is available in 2 colours - yellow and white, and 3 sizes - size 3, 4 and 5. This ball is still constructed using the revolutionary Hyperseam technology and will not take on water, making it one of the best value match balls around. As the quality improves through the range so does the outer cover, on the Ultimatch Plus ball the outer is enhanced to an impressive 1mm PU outer which gives the user enhanced durability and improved feel.
