About this deal

Let’s start by looking at the main features of the Elite 2.0 Commander and then both the good and bad of each one. The Commander has a noticeably comfortable priming handle that is easy to hold and makes for a smooth slide.

Considered the gold standard of nerf guns, the Nerf Ultra One motorized blaster is among the most advanced nerf guns available, built for distance, speed and accuracy. The Ultra One boasts one of the farthest firing distances of any nerf gun – up to 120 feet – and it achieves this with the use of Nerf’s game-changing Nerf Ultra Darts, special projectiles which feature unique flight tips, Ultra foam and Aerofin technology. While firing the blaster at a normal angle, I measured an average range of 45-55 feet. When firing angled upwards, I got an average of 65-75 feet. The farthest dart went to 85 feet, which is still below the advertised 90. Reliability and Durability 8.5/10 WARNING: Do not aim at eyes or face. Use of eyewear recommended for players and people within range. Use only official Nerf darts. Other darts may not meet safety standards. Do not modify darts or blaster. Its name, “Commander,” implies the ability to adapt and demand respect in a Nerf battle, as it does. As the Commander is one of the least expensive blasters you can buy, there isn’t too much to complain about. The Motoblitz is also a fully-fledged semi-automatic blaster. Load the included 10-dart clip, hold down the priming button under the trigger to activate the motor, and you’re ready to go! The combination of semi-auto firing and Airblitz technology makes this blaster truly fearsome. The Nerf Halo MA40 is a motorized, clip-fed blaster that can fire 10 darts in a row from a 10-dart clip. Prime the blaster with the pump action Hold down the acceleration button to power up the blaster's motor, then press the trigger to fire 1 dart and press the trigger again to shoot another dart. The Nerf Halo MA40 can even be customized with Nerf accessories (not included) thanks to a rail riser that attaches to the blaster's tactical rail.

Overall its value is hard to beat, but it would be a bit more fun if it came with at least one attachment. Final Verdict The Nerf Elite 2.0 Commander RD-6 was released in 2020, and makes for a great addition to any Nerf arsenal.Like the rest of the Elite 2.0 line, the Commander has a very industrial look to it. Yes, it’s plastic, but it also has a stamped metal vibe to it. The NERF Elite 2.0 Motoblitz is a game-changer in NERF blaster technology. This powerful blaster offers two modes of play: the air-pressurized “Airblitz” action and the motorized semi-automatic firing. While firing this blaster, it didn’t strike me as inconsistent. Keep in mind it is hard to judge accuracy because a lot depends on how used or bent a dart is. Customers have been impressed with the looks of this nerf gun, whether they’re Halo fans are not, and particularly love the power and performance of the Nerf Halo MA40 dart blaster. The number code system for Elite 2.0 closely resembles that of the Alpha Strike series, rather than N-Strike's system.

My Commander has seen some use and only will give you trouble when using bent or highly worn darts. The amount of options for upgrades and customization is what sets this apart from similar blasters. While the Spectre Rev-5 can compare, it will likely be found at twice the price. Something like the Disruptor has a close price resemblance but has no extra options at all.

The Commander serves as the replacement for the Strongarm/Disruptor, and while other blasters can get better performance for less money – a Nerf fan who buys one probably won’t be disappointed. Alpha Strike • Assembler Gear • DinoSquad • Doomlands 2169 • DragonPower • Elite 2.0 • Elite Jr. • GlowStrike • Hyper • Laser Ops • Mech Strike • Mega • Mega XL • Nerf LMTD • Nerf Pro • Nerf Sports • Nitro • N-Strike • N-Strike Elite • N-Strike Modulus • Power Moves • RIVAL • ULTRA • Vortex • Web Shots • Zombie Strike Elite 2.0, as its name suggests, is a spiritual successor to the 2012 N-Strike Elite series. Its blasters feature a similar design to those seen in later releases of N-Strike Elite, with the exception that the blasters are now teal and orange in color, rather than blue and orange. Most blasters include double their intended firing capacity worth of darts.

The slam fire is my favorite part and, for some reason, it seems to make it perform better. This could be in my head, but I swear it’s an anomaly in that regard.
