About this deal

This Agreement is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Japan without regard to its conflicts of laws principles. Faster recycling, better swivel, dedicated gel holder that impacts white balance correctly, the list of little things that were added or improved is quite long. The overheating indicator turns on after 20 shots of the Nikon SB-910 at full power 1/1 - not enough for a professional flash.

I don’t need a complete re-design of the flash head swivel like Sony, although Sony’s is BRILLIANT, but at the very least I’d like a rear-oriented swiveling flash head. No, they don't support AA mode, and that's a pity, but as fully manual and RF triggerable speedlights they're in many ways superior to Nikon's unreliable optical triggering CLS models. Non-TTL "Auto aperture" Auto mode: the SB-910 is smart enough to read the ISO and set aperture from your camera, and then uses its own sensor to set the exposure. THIS DISCLAIMER CONSTITUTES AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THIS AGREEMENT AND NO USE OF THE MANUAL IS AUTHORIZED EXCEPT UNDER THIS DISCLAIMER. There is almost no audible noise from the inverter as it recycles; just a light noise if you used much power and then it goes silent. But it’s not like the SB900 is going to explode any SOONER than any OTHER 4-battery flash on the market. My ultimate change out is to replace my SB-910s and 700s with SB-5000s to ensure I only have one "menu" to remember, although they are all pretty much straightforward having a streamlined setup makes more sense. As it is I have a hard time getting my flash into my carry-on (remember I use a smallish pack because of the regional jets I'm always flying on).

Professional i-TTL Speedlight compatible with Nikon FX- and DX-format SLRs, and part of the Nikon Creative Lighting System. If you’re going to seek advice on the internet, get every angle and find at least one or two opinions from someone who has actually tried EVERY option, not just the one option you’re considering. And with refined operability including illuminated buttons for use in low light and improved thermal cut out protection, the SB-910 is the perfect partner to your D-SLR. Depending on which camera you're using, these things try to seal the camera's hot shoe from water when using this flash. If you can get past all the fluff features and set it the way you want, which isn't that difficult, it works great.Considering that the most common focal length range for ordinary photographers working at full frame is 14-200mm (14-24, 24-70, 70-200), the flash can work with the most common optics. Really, the only thing that ever goes wrong with flashes is either you drop them, or you explode them. without any mention of the Nikon SB800 or the Nikon SB700 as professional choices… The bottom line is that most everybody on the internet who is giving recommendations seems to always recommend the SB910 and nothing else.

I have an oldish set of Phottix manual triggers that are still super reliable on the Z bodies with the SB-910.

These Download Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") constitute a legal agreement between you (either an individual or single entity) and Nikon Corporation or its associated company ("Nikon") setting forth the terms and conditions governing your download of the operation manual for our products (“Manual”). Because you do have to shoot continuously as kids are very unpredictable, the flash recycle time was showing its limitations quite clearly where the flash pops were very inconsistent in terms of power, and in some cases simply not firing at all.
