The characters are interesting, but the story focuses much more on Kamishiro and larger plot points and action scenes rather than exploring side characters. Taku Kamishiro is in love with his childhood friend Mika Hanazono, who’s so popular with the boys that hardly a day goes by without somebody wooing her.

He asks Mika if she would ever look at his shirt, and she says she'd never look his way, even if they'd been friends since they were kids. It's not really bothering too much, I just personally take more attention to the art, so occasionally I see 2 different characters and notice they look identical. Just as a side note, I love shounen manga, so I wouldn't mind if that was the case, but that really isn't the structure of this manga) I think this feeling stems from the fact that it doesn't really have the same separating arc structure of a shounen; all the plot things bleed together. They all agree that he is, and they both agree that it would be nice if they could have a "perfect romance" like the one they're about to embark on. While I might respect their opinion, I also have the right to say that this manga doesn't even deserve to even dream of being a masterpiece.I'm a bit disappointed, the reason I give 3 stars and not 2 is because I really enjoyed these last chapters, except for the shitty ending.

He is incredibly strong, since his body was modified to have "12 different attack strategies", from guns in his fingers to knives and a weird vertebrae tentacle thing? If nothing else, I was so shocked by the ending that I immediately bought the next volume, and any book that can make me do that gets a thumbs up from me.
